Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of Cadora. Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you don't, don't use the app — and if you've paid, see Refunds below.
Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to every app bought from the App Store. Where these terms and Apple's disagree, Apple's win.
What Cadora is
Cadora is a record-keeping and reminder tool. You enter what you pay for; it stores it, reminds you before renewal dates, adds up what you're spending, and offers suggestions about what you might keep, pause, downgrade or cancel.
What Cadora is not
This matters, so it is not buried:
- Cadora is not financial, tax, or legal advice. Its suggestions come from fixed rules applied to the figures you typed. They are prompts to think, not recommendations from a qualified adviser. Decisions about your money are yours.
- Cadora is not connected to your bank, your card, or the companies you subscribe to. It cannot see real charges, cannot verify a price, and cannot cancel anything on your behalf. Cancelling a subscription always means doing it with that provider yourself; where Cadora links to a cancellation page, it is a convenience link, nothing more.
- Cadora does not guarantee a reminder will arrive. Reminders are local iOS notifications. The operating system can delay or drop them, a device can be off, notifications can be disabled, and iOS limits how many any app may schedule at once — Cadora prioritises the soonest and the repeating ones when it hits that ceiling. Do not rely on Cadora as your only safeguard against an unwanted charge.
- Cadora does not verify prices or currency conversions. Amounts and billing cycles are what you entered. Converted totals use rate data that may be stale or wrong, and are estimates for orientation, not accounting.
Your responsibilities
- Enter accurate information. Everything Cadora shows is derived from what you typed.
- Keep your own backups. Cadora is not a backup service. Export your data if it matters to you (Settings → Export).
- Other people's details are your responsibility. If you record someone as paying for something, you are choosing to store their name, and possibly their photo, phone number and email. Only enter what you have a legitimate reason to keep, tell them if they'd expect you to, and delete it when it stops being relevant. Cadora never reads your Contacts and never sends these details anywhere but your own iCloud.
- Use the app lawfully, and don't try to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute it beyond what your App Store licence and applicable law allow.
Premium, billing and cancellation
Cadora is free to use, with banner ads and up to 10 active items. Cadora Premium removes that cap and unlocks multiple reminders per item, advanced insights, exports, and removes ads.
Paused and cancelled items do not count toward the free limit, and nothing you have already saved is ever removed or locked because of it — if you are above the cap, your items stay yours to view and edit, and only adding a new one asks you to upgrade.
- Sold by Apple. All purchases go through Apple's In-App Purchase. We never handle your payment details. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
- Monthly and yearly Premium are auto-renewing subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand, and your Apple Account is charged within 24 hours of the period ending.
- Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing renews.
- Cancel any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period. You keep Premium until the period ends.
- Restore purchases on a new device with the same Apple Account via the Restore option on the Premium screen.
- Prices can change. Any change to a subscription price is handled through Apple, which will ask for your consent before charging the new price.
Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue, promise, or expedite a refund on Apple's behalf. If something in the app is broken, tell us at support@aquifer.fyi; we'd rather fix it.
Advertising
Free users see banner ads served by Google AdMob. Whether those ads are personalised depends on choices you control — see the Privacy Policy. We do not control which specific ads Google serves, and an ad appearing in Cadora is not an endorsement of the advertiser.
Your data
Cadora has no account and no server of ours. Your entries live on your device and sync through your own iCloud. What that means in detail, including the one optional network request and what Google collects, is in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and may update the app to keep it working with new versions of iOS. We'll avoid removing something you rely on without saying so in the release notes. If a change is material and you've bought Premium, and the change makes the app substantially less useful to you, contact us.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded under the law where you live. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a reminder will always arrive on time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a charge you did not want, a subscription you meant to cancel, or a decision made on the basis of an in-app suggestion. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including, in some jurisdictions, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
If you are a consumer, you keep every statutory right your local law gives you, and nothing in these terms takes those away.
